Education shapes a person, just as people are essential in determining a nation's standing. Every country is built on education since it fosters a certain degree of knowledge, morals, and awareness. Education is also an essential tool for developing skills like decision-making, mental agility, problem-solving, as well as enhancing quality of life, to foster the growth of brilliant people with the potential to transform society. Because it provides possibilities for learning knowledge and skills that are genuinely altering the world, education is crucial to society. It is therefore for these reasons that developers in Cameroon are revolutionizing education by using technology to find new and innovative ways to shape the way individuals learn. 1. SKOLARR 

 In response to the socio-political unrest that disrupted education in Cameroon, Skolarr was created and launched in December 2022. The app has recorded a 1k+ downloads on PlayStore: Skolarr on Playstore  and on App Store: Skolarr on App Store 

About Skolarr

Skollar is an AI-powered, personalized bilingual educational app whose purpose is to provide accessible and affordable educational content to all African students through the use of mobile technology. Skolarr provides free educational content such as videos, study notes, and past examination papers to students across the national territory, most especially in regions where education has been disrupted, permitting them to follow up with lectures from the comfort of their homes. 

What are Skolarr’s  Features?

1. AI Enhancer.

Skolarr has a built-in AI chatbot helping not only students across Cameroon and other sub-Saharan countries. Using the chatbot, students can find practice problems, study guides, videos, class notes and step-by-step explanations for every subject they are studying. 

2. Self-Paced Online Courses.

This mobile App possesses 250+ online courses, that are subcategories into the GCE Advanced and Ordinary Level Subjects, Probatoire and Baccalaureat subjects, Programming, Data Science, Entrepreneur, University French and English and Business. The app makes provision for expert instructors and you can learn on your schedule; anytime and anywhere!

Who Founded Skolarr?

This app was developed by Afopezi Anua-Gueleh Moses; a 23 years young  entrepreneur, founder, and CEO of DDevWorld-Tech; a tech company focused on building Ed-Tech platforms to aid the government in the digitization process of education in Cameroon and Africa. He is equally the Co-Founder of CamLEI (Cameroon’s Leaders Empowerment Initiative) which is aimed at empowering youths to become exemplary leaders in today’s society.  Moses holds a Masters’ in Telecommunication Engineering and is a multi-award-winning tech-preneur.
