In December 2023, Tech Chantier embarked on an exciting journey with her React/React Native boot camp cohort 3. Throughout the program, she had the pleasure of welcoming 20 talented participants who were eager to dive into the world of React and React Native. Closing Event and Project Demos
On the 9th of March, Tech Chantier hosted the highly-anticipated closing event, where her dedicated participants had the opportunity to showcase their completed projects to the community and a distinguished panel of jurors. The event was a true celebration of their hard work and achievements. The event was honored to have members of the startup community, as well as influential founders such as Eng. Mambe Churchill of Buyam, Mr. Akwo of Nkwa, Eng. Ndeh Alice of Nkwa, and Mr. Afuma Patrice of KiawiTech, and a host of others gracing her with their presence.
Highlighting the Le Nk'ap Project
During the event, the community was thrilled to witness five incredible presentations, each delivered by talented young women in tech. They showcased their project, Le Nk'ap, which exemplified their dedication, commitment, and ability to translate problem statements into fully functional software. The project featured stunning UI designs, thoughtful logic, and demonstrated how individuals can effectively manage their personal finances through a basic web app built with React. The participants also shared their personal experiences, acknowledging the challenges they faced and the moments they felt like giving up. However, their perseverance ultimately led to their success, and they expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity to see the project through to completion.
Awarding Excellence
In recognition of outstanding achievements, two awards were handed over sponsored by Creative Infiny, a fast growing start up institute in the Silicon Mountain community. The Best Design prize was awarded to Miss Besingi Naura for her exceptional creativity and attention to detail. Her design stood out among the impressive projects presented, capturing both aesthetics and functionality. The Most Completed Project award went to Miss Beleme Johanna, who demonstrated a comprehensive understanding of the problem statement and delivered an impressive solution. Both Miss Naura and Miss Johanna showcased remarkable skills and dedication, deserving recognition for their outstanding contributions.
Expressions of Gratitude
